nothing ties these shots together. i just took them while i was on my way home from work yesterday (yes we had work even if it was cebu city's charter day, a holiday). the last shot i took was 'the night sky and a basketball ring' from our house roof (if u could call it that), 'the last traffic light...' was the final shot i took from the car on my way home, while the street sign was the first one i took after work, also from the car. the backward sequencing was totally unintentional, i just uploaded the photos that way. the title is from two counting crows songs ("daylight fading" and "butterfly in reverse") put together. i know the photography ain't special or anything, but i just wanted to put something on here hehehe

today is the 11th of february, year 2004. my name is gilbert chua and this is my very first entry in this my very own photoblog (finally). i didn't take any pictures today, i spent most of the day at work. before i went home after work, i dropped by sm to get some health and grooming supplies. i saw that norah jones' new album "feels like home" was already out so i got myself a copy of that too.  i'm listening to it right now!!!  i'll tell u about my thoughts on the album next time.
now, about the photos... this is a photo blog so i had to put some photos here even though i didnt take a single shot today. these are from last year's halloween outing with my friends junrey, caroll, johanna, dean, and marmel. anan and cindy joined us for dinner that night but had to leave early for some reason... that's why they are absent from these pictures taken at the mountain view trip after dinner. enjoy! better late than never, right?
